Characterization of Geomaterials and Simulation of Geotechnical Construction
1) Characterization and simulation of geomaterials, including sand, clay and rock with microscopic structures.
2) Finite element simulation of geotechnical construction process, as in shield tunneling, chemical grouting, pile driving. 3) Environmental geotechnics, as in reuse of construction wastes.
